Augusta Bar Association Passes Resolution to Fund Vacant Circuit Court Judgeship

At our Bar meeting on July 21st, a Resolution was passed which urges that the currently unfunded fifth seat for a Circuit Court judge in the 25th Circuit be funded and filled. Augusta Bar Supports Criminal Discovery Reform

The Augusta County Bar Association put a Committee together of local prosecutors and defense attorneys to review the proposed changes to discovery rules in criminal cases. The Committee proposed a resolution supporting the adoption of the proposed rules. This resolution passed and has been adopted by the Augusta Bar Association.
